Dear UK……. that’s right. It’s time to start getting excited.
Some of you will know that this will be the 2nd time The Scene takes a festival form.
Our first festival in the Summer of 2018 was a huge success which saw full houses every night of the run. We hope to recreate that in The Scene 2020.
Again, we will be showcasing 30 short plays across five nights, using a company of a actors and directors who can each apply their skills to 2 or 3 of them.
This event will take place at the (by then) newly branded Chiswick Playhouse (formerly the Tabard Theatre) from the 28th January to the 1st February 2020.

New-writing pieces 15 minutes max No more than 4 characters Female-centric (strong female lead/more female characters than male/all-female) One submission per writer please!
